These were used to tell a story and enhance the message of the subject. Some of the characters were used as regular protagonists and antagonists in the storylines of several modules. The LMS needed its own identity and to be easily recognisable to staff members no matter their position or area of the business. The activity above is a match game in which the player is captured by the evil Wartin and must answer questions in order to gain time for the main game where, only if they succeed in the time limit, they can escape. The competitions gained high level interaction and great reviews. I came up with the idea of a Top Trumps style game that creates discussion of the values and also a bit of controversy. Making the game and more importantly the values memorable for the players far beyond the onboarding stage.
